General Description

UNIBE is a private higher education institution, specialized in health sciences, committed to the academic training of world-class professionals.

Founded in 1995 and officially recognized by the National Council for Higher Education (CONESUP), an entity attached to the Ministry of Public Education (MEP) and accredited, in all its careers, by the National Accreditation System (SINAES), the highest accreditation institution in Costa Rica.

Its academic offer consists of professional careers in Medicine, Psychology, Pharmacy and Nursing, which offer students access to cutting-edge tools and the latest in medical technology.

UNIBE is the only university that has a hospital on campus in Costa Rica with 38 specialties and a medical tower with more than 40 specialists. UNIBE also has a neuropsychological care clinic where students carry out their supervised internships before graduating. In the east of the capital UNIBE has a first-class satellite clinic that offers care in all services and specializes in preventative health.
